AS to A2 - Evaluation and Goals

   Research

  • What we did well: we researched every element of our film in depth
  • To improve in A2: we will share the workload more so that everyone does an equal amount

   Planning

  • What we did well: we organised ourselves and made sure that everything was prepared and accounted for
  • To improve in A2: we could storyboard the whole thing better so that we waste less time improvising and working out what to do

   Filming

  • What we did well: we stayed focussed and on task, and got everything done quickly and efficiently
  • To improve in A2: take a surplus of shots, especially reaction shots, so that we have a variety of choice when it comes to editing

   Editing

  • What we did well: we gave everyone the tasks that they were best at whilst ensuring that we got feedback from the rest of the group
  • To improve in A2: Use more technical aspects and challenge ourselves with the edit

   Sound

  • What we did well: we created our own foley and considered all sounds in the piece
  • To improve in A2: we could use more realistic sounds (when applicable)

   Evaluation

  • What we did well: we used a variety of media in our evaluation, from videos, to text, to voice recordings
  • To improve in A2: spend more time on evaluation and ensure we know what we're doing and how to evaluate
